The owners of Gear running store live a one word philosophy: Balance.
This philosophy is the foundation of their little shop in Edina, Minnesota.
Their "Winter Waddle Fun Run" is a perfect example. The race takes place smack dab in the frozen
heart of Minnesota winter. The race mascot is a cuddly, sombrero wearing penguin and runners
enjoy an ice-cold cervesa when they cross the finish line. We designed Gear's little promotional piece
with that same lighthearted attitude. The coasters encourage runners to run while reminding them to
"drink plenty of fluids." An innuendo that urges balance between run and fun. Bottoms up!
